MANILA,PHILIPPINES. As reported by ABS-CBN News, Roussel Tan, the Bureau of Customs employee who drew flak among OFWs for allegedly posting insulting remarks against them has denied the allegations claiming her FB account was hacked. 

Tan, who confirmed a post explaining why BOC had to implement stricter rules about balikbayan box said the following posts lambasting overseas workers calling them 'tanga' and 'bobo' were not hers. 

"Hindi ko po kayang magbitaw ng mga masamang salita dahil may mga kamag-anak din po ako na OFW', she said in an FB post.

"Nagmamakaawa po ako sa inyo dahil sa nangyari naapektuhan na po ang aking mga anak, natatakot na sila at hindi makapagconcentrate dahil meron mga nagpost na me death threat na kami...", she added.

Currently, a Facebook community named Rousell Tan with over 9,000 likes is still availabale online.

In the news, Tan said she already sought the help of NBI to determine the poser who created the pages that stirred online bashing against her.
