BANGKOK, THAILAND. "All's well that ends well" between Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and Rajabhat University Network as they have finally reached an understanding about the issue of 'discriminatory' ad that SCB posted on its website.

Also in the said agreement is the Rajamangala University network which previously also expressed dismay over the issue that drew uproar from the Thai netizens in the social media

Mr. Yol Phokasub, SCB President met with both Niwat Klin-Ngan, Council President of Rajabhat University Presidents of Thailand and Praset Pinpathomrat, President of Thanyaburi Rajamangala University of Technology on Friday, July 3, to discuss and iron out concerns about the job advert that specified only students from 14 universities as qualified applicants.

The parties have agreed that they would discuss cooperation in developing applicants better suited to the demands of the workforce market.

"The case should be seen as an example for other organizations to provide equal opportunity for all students, whatever their educational, social and economic background", said Mr. Niwat and Mr. Praset in the statement they released to media.
