...so the last day of December came inevitably but it seem just so an ordinary day around me...i did the usual stuff in my room without even planning of going out until my stomach grumbled so loudly wanting to digest something. when i looked at my watch, it was past 3 o'clock in the afternoon. so i had to get up and go downstairs to fill my whining stomach with something that is available from the nearby restaurant.

...when i was back in front of the computer, my phone rang...it was reuben informing me that we will be gathering together in mheng and nheng's house for a "year-end bible study" then media noche. i was kind of a bit excited about the thought of me not "alone" for the new year.

...in nheng and mheng's, we didn't have the usual bible study where only one person shares the word of God. reuben did an excellent way of letting everyone share out of the bible verse that each one of us picked and i felt that God talked to us personally with the verses we were able to pick. God's message for me is in Jeremiah 29:11 which says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you future and a hope."...beautiful promise isn't it?

...then we excitedly proceeded to the nan river to witness the ten - minute spectacle of the fireworks display. hergy, reuben and i couldn't even decide which place was the best spot to witness the whole show - we had to run back and forth until we finally settled in a perfect place which gave us a perfect view. then all of a sudden, the air was filled with the deafening booms and blasts that splattered different vibrant colors to the delight and amazement of all the spectators along the nan river...yes! it's new year now...it's a hello to 2011.

...now..i'm writing my first blog for the year 2011...to say hello to everyone who might be able to read this...my wishes of prosperity to all of us this year and the years ahead...God bless!!!

Below are the pics taken by Mr. Joma Cordova. I don't have a camera as good as his so I'm borrowing his shots for this article. I am attaching a link of his facebook album here should you like to check more of his photos.
